This new breed was first established in Australia in the late 1980s and quickly became a popular companion animal due to its friendly nature and low-shedding coat. Labradoodles are a highly intelligent breed capable of being trained to do many tasks such as opening doors and retrieving items. They are also very agile, dependable and have great endurance.
Labradoodles are generally considered to be hypoallergenic and non-shedding, making them desirable dog breeds for people who suffer from allergies. In saying this, it is important to note that this is not a guarantee that the breed will not cause an allergic reaction. Whether a person is allergic to a particular breed of dog depends on a variety of individual factors and can vary from person to person.
