Labradoodles are a relatively new breed of designer dog formed by crossing a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. These highly intelligent and active dogs are extremely friendly and often characterized by their lovely curly coats. They come in a variety of coat colors, including white, chocolate, black, red, apricot and silver. Labradoodles are also known for their low to non-shedding coats, which makes them an ideal companion pet for allergy sufferers.
Labradoodles are bred from Labrador Retrievers and Poodles and do not actually cause a person to have allergies.
