Labradoodles are an incredibly unique breed of dog that may be the perfect companion for a variety of families, as they combine desirable characteristics from both their Labrador Retriever and Poodle origins. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of Labradoodles is their immense versatility. These dogs can range in size from a miniature 7-15 pounds to a much larger 60+ pounds. Furthermore, their coat type can vary greatly from a short, smooth coat to a much longer, silky fleece or wool coat depending on the traits inherited from their parents.
Labradoodles are generally considered non-shedding dog breeds and therefore are a great choice for those looking for a low shedding variety of dog. This makes Labradoodles an appealing choice for those who suffer from allergies or who may be concerned about dander/fur in their home. Although Labradoodles can vary in coat type, they often have a low-shedding coat which is hypoallergenic and non-shedding.
Labradoodles, which are a mix between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle, can eat both dry and wet foods specifically formulated for large breeds.
