They are generally less than 24 inches at the shoulder, have a soft curly or wiry coat, and weigh between 15 to 75 pounds. They are a good fit for people who are looking for a dog that is affectionate, playful, and loyal. As tempting as it might be, Labradoodles should not be fed human food, as it can cause them to gain unhealthy weight. It is best to provide them with a diet of high-quality dry or wet dog food that is specifically formulated for the breed's size and age.
