Labradoodles are even tempered with the intelligence of a poodle and the loyalty and exuberance of a Labrador Retriever. They come in three size variations including the standard, miniature and toy sizes and along with various coat types such as wavy, curly and straight.
Labradoodles are a hybrid or designer breed of dog which are designed to have the characteristics of a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. As with any other breed, the qualities and characteristics of a Labradoodle, including their hypoallergenic capabilities, can vary from dog to dog. However, many Labradoodles are bred to be non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Generally, hypoallergenic means that the dog will not shed their fur or dander, which are typical culprits behind allergic reactions in people.
Labradoodles should not be fed any type of human food or table scraps as they can cause health issues such as obesity and pancreatitis. Additionally, feeding Labradoodles raw or undercooked meat, fish, eggs, dairy, or vegetables can increase their risk of bacterial infection and food-borne illnesses.
