As a result, Labradoodles boast an incredibly intelligent temperament that makes them one of the most trainable and obedient breeds, making them a great companion for families. But the most interesting thing about Labradoodles may be their fact their unique coat color and texture, which ranges from curly to wavy to straight.
Managing allergies with Labradoodles is possible with proper care. One of the most important steps to take is to keep the coat and skin as clean as possible. Regularly washing the Labradoodle and their bedding will help to limit the presence of allergens in the home. Additionally, brushing and combing the fur can help to remove dust and pollen trapped in the fur. To further limit the potential for allergic reactions, carpets, furniture, and other home items that collect dust should be vacuumed and wiped down regularly.
Your Labradoodle should be fed a high-quality, nutritionally-balanced diet. Look for a food specifically formulated for large breed puppies and adults -this will ensure your pup receives all the necessary vitamins and minerals for growth and health. Be mindful of any food allergies your pup may have, as some Labradoodles can be sensitive to certain ingredients. Labradoodle's need daily exercise to stay fit and healthy, but the amount of time depends on their age, level of physical fitness, and current health. A good rule of thumb is for your Labradoodle to walk at least 30 minutes per day (more if possible!), with a maximum of an hour. Try breaking up the time into two or three short walks throughout the day, or one longer walk if your pup can handle it. Be sure the walks are comfortable that means walking in a cool area, avoiding hot surfaces and not exercising too much.
