As a hybrid, a Labradoodle is not recognized as an official breed, but they are a wonderful mix of the two ancestors' characteristics. Labradoodles have a gentle and friendly temperament, making them a fantastic companion for households with kids and other pets.
Labradoodles are not a hypoallergenic dog breed, meaning that individuals who suffer from pet allergies should proceed with caution when considering a Labradoodle. While people may assume that they are hypoallergenic due to their curly coats and mixes of breeds, it is important to note that all dogs produce allergens to some degree.
