Labradoodles are a designer dog breed, which is a cross between the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle. They make great family pets due to their intelligence, eagerness to please and engaging personalities. With proper obedience training, Labradoodles are generally mild-tempered and polite, and can even make good guard dogs. Labradoodles have long wavy or curly coats, which require frequent brushing and grooming. They are usually allergy-friendly because of their low-shedding coats.
Labradoodles may not be considered totally non-shedding, but they do tend to be hypoallergenic.
