Labradoodles are truly an amazing breed. They are a hybrid of the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle, making them both intelligent and energetic. Possibly the most interesting and unique trait about Labradoodles is that no two specimens are identical because of the fact that the breed is a mix of two pure breeds, allowing for a variety of coat types, colors, and temperaments. Not only do they possess a loving nature, but they are also active, making them great family dogs.
Labradoodles are known for their unique coat. It can vary from pup to pup, resulting in a range of textures and colors. On average, however, Labradoodle coats are typically medium to long, and wavy or curly. These hybrids have hybrid vigor, meaning they don't shed as much as most other breeds. Many Labradoodle owners find that their coat gradually becomes less curly over time. The length of the coat can also depend on the season, with the coat getting thicker and longer in colder months to help keep the dog warm.
Labradoodles are incredibly versatile and hard-working dogs, so they require an equally well-rounded diet.
